"Sid" is the third episode of Series 2 and the 12th episode of the show overall.
The end of the this episode and the subsequent events that follow cause a major change in the relationships between Cassie, Tony, Sid, and Michelle.
Sid misinterprets Cassie's closeness with her gay Scottish friend and angrily accuses her of cheating on him, later destroys the laptop he used to communicate with her. In the same episode, Sid's mom has to be home because of the visit of Mark's father and brother who ignore Mark and even Sid. Sid's parents were in the mood of reunion at that night but the mother's lover crashed his car to the house and his mom leaves for taking him to the hospital. Mark speaks out to his Dad firstly in his life and has a talk with Sid about Cassie. Next morning while Sid tries to call Cassie he finds his father dead. Still in shock, Sid goes to school as usual, but finally breaks down in front of Tony while at a concert. The two end up going back to Sid's house together to deal with the situation, which seems to patch up their damaged friendship. At the end of the episode, Sid is seen on a train, presumably headed to Scotland to see Cassie. At the same time, Cassie is seen taking a train in the opposite direction, presumably to visit Sid in Bristol.
